In Fallout Vegas , you’re in a town where you dig your own grave before you get shot in the head and die. And that’s before things really get worse. Fallout Vegas is a post-apocalyptic open-world RPG. The game is set in the year 2281, near a retro-futuristic version of Las Vegas, after the Great War between the United States and China that took place about two hundred years earlier. For a total of two hours on October 23, 2077, the Earth was burned by nuclear fire, forever changing life on this planet as we knew it. Fallout Vegas is an action role-playing game that can be played in both first-person and third-person perspectives. It is set in the Mojave Desert, years after a nuclear war has decimated much of the United States. The player controls a courier who has survived an assassination attempt by an unknown assailant. The goal of Fallout Vegas is to complete a series of missions to find the assailant, which eventually culminates in a war between different ruling factions vying for control of the Mojave Desert. In addition to the main missions, the player can take part in optional, unrelated missions known as side missions. The protagonist of the story, which takes place in post-nuclear Las Vegas, called New Vegas, is an ordinary courier who got involved in a very unusual altercation. Having received an order to deliver the package, he, halfway to the meeting place, comes across people who shoot him in the back and take the package. The hero's story could have ended tragically here, but a robot finds him and takes him to a doctor. The Courier, also known as Courier Six, is the player character and main protagonist of Fallout Vegas. Prior to 2281, the Courier traveled extensively throughout New California, such as on the Long 15 to Primm, to Circle Junction, New Reno, Vault City, Fort Abandon, and on Brahmin trips in Big Circle. At one point, they were hired to deliver a package recovered from Navarro to a community near Death Valley. They left the area shortly after completing the delivery, unaware that the package would transmit detonation codes for several pre-war nuclear missile silos beneath the area. The missiles, trapped in the decaying silos, exploded underground and destroyed the community, transforming the area into the Divide.
